Rush Fees for Wedding Dresses: What Every Bride Needs to Know
Wedding season is here, and with it comes a flurry of rush orders alongside our regular ones. If you’re wondering how wedding dress rush orders work, or if you need your gown faster than the standard production time, here’s everything you need to know—clear, simple, and bride-friendly.
What Is a Wedding Dress Rush Order?
A rush order is an add-on fee that lets us prioritise your gown in our production queue so it’s ready for your big day.
Normally, our wedding dresses take up to 10 months to make—because we create gowns the ethical, sustainable, slow-fashion way. This means expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a gown made especially for you.
With a rush fee, your wedding dress is completed much sooner and shipped to our bridal boutique alongside other finished gowns.
How Long Does a Rush Order Wedding Dress Take?
Whether your order is rushed or standard, we aim to have your gown ready 6 weeks before your wedding day.
This timeline ensures you have plenty of time for bridal alterations and a stress-free experience.
In rare cases, rush orders may run 1–2 weeks later due to:
📦 Postage delays
🧵 Fabric sourcing challenges
🌧️ Unforeseen circumstances
If that happens, we’ll contact you immediately so you can plan with confidence.
How Will You Know Your Dress Is Ready?
When your gown arrives at our bridal shop, we put it through a thorough quality check. Once it passes, we’ll email you to book your collection appointment. That’s when the magic moment happens—you finally get to try on your dress! 🎉
What If You Haven’t Heard From Us Yet?
We completely understand the excitement (and impatience!) that comes with waiting for your gown—especially with a rush order.
If you haven’t heard from us and it’s still more than 6–8 weeks before your wedding, don’t worry. Your dress is on schedule. Of course, if you ever feel unsure, just email us and we’ll respond as soon as possible.
✨ Whether you choose a standard or rush order, our mission is the same: to deliver your dream wedding dress beautifully, ethically, and stress-free. ✨
